Just like any breed of dog there are some health issues to be aware of when taking care of a labradoodle or Australian labradoodle and reputable Australian labradoodle breeders will always share with new owners the proper care for this type of dog. Fortunately, labradoodles are considered a very healthy breed overall and owners are often surprised at how hardy and playful the breed is throughout its lifetime. Issues that may result and should be watched for include things like hip dysplasia, patella luxation and some eye issues. Sometimes the dogs also have a juvenile under bite although this issue isn't technically the same type of health issue.
